A second New Photovoltaic System for TCS
Officine TCS has increased its production area to approximately 3,000 m²
A new couverage
A careful environmental policy led TCS, in 2010, to remediate the old asbestos-cement roofing of its two industrial buildings and install a new roof system with pre-painted sheet metal on both the outer and inner surfaces, insulated with 12 cm thick insulating panels. The same remediation and roofing work was also carried out in 2023 for another section of the building that had been acquired later. Today, the production area of TCS covers approximately 3,000 square metres.
Energy production
In 2010, TCS installed its first 79 kW photovoltaic system, which initially covered approximately 80% of the company’s annual energy requirements. Over the years, TCS’s energy demand increased, and in 2025 the company made a further investment by installing a new 89 kW photovoltaic system. Together, the two systems will cover more than 90% of the company’s current annual electricity needs.
ECO FRIENDLY
The combined output of the two photovoltaic systems is expected to generate approximately 220,000 kWh per year, resulting in an annual reduction of approximately 61 tonnes of CO₂.
